Happy Birthday, BGLS!

WOOHOO, Brown Girls Love STEM turns four this month! *queue the confetti, rainbow sprinkles, and ice cream*

In the past few years, I have been beyond proud of the progress of BGLS. All of this started as just an idea for a website to encourage girls like me to pursue STEM degrees, and now it's bigger than I could have imagined a year ago. Just the amount of people that believe in the power of BGLS is amazing to me. Now, we're doing workshops and community service, and just making a difference.

To celebrate our fourth birthday, we are hosting a fundraiser. But not just ANY fundraiser, a HUGE one, one that will make a difference in a lot of kids' lives. We're hosting our very own BGLS Back-2-School Supply Drive!

Every year, we aim to give back, whether it be through volunteering our time or donating resources.
